![]() ![]() Referring to his first art installation, Kaprow stated in a 1965 interview: Often associated with found objects and Conceptual Art, the earliest form of this avant-garde movement was referred to as the environment, which was started by the American artist Allan Kaprow in 1957. In this way, art becomes something you can touch, hear, feel or smell.
